[Bridgeview, IL]  Northwestern College’s Bridgeview Campus recently hosted two full-day workshops on behalf of the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) presenting training for new financial aid professionals.  These workshops yielded participation from financial aid professionals from local institutions such as Benedictine University, Roosevelt University, Chicago State University, as well as Northwestern College.  This is the second time that Northwestern College has partnered with ISAC by hosting such training events.

“Financial Aid 101” was presented by ISAC staff on November 15^th with the purpose of introducing new financial aid professionals to financial aid concepts, programs, and processes in order to help them to develop a solid foundation on which to build their careers. “Financial Aid 201” was presented on November 16^th and was intended for more experienced financial aid administrators who were already familiar with the basic concepts of financial aid.  That full-day workshop focused on verification, professional judgment, and preparation for audits and program reviews.
