Pet Patrol LLC, a licensed, bonded and insured local dog walking and pet sitting company based in Orland Park, IL, began as a solely owned and operated business in October of 2006. Over the last five years, Pet Patrol has grown to a staff of six, serving hundreds of clients each year with their pet care needs. Pet Patrol provides mid day dog walks, in-your-home vacation care for all domestic animals and pet taxi services for vet and grooming appointments. To celebrate this anniversary, Pet Patrol is extending at 15% discount to all service in the month of October.
Most recently, to ensure the safety of those pets under their care, each member of the Pet Patrol staff was certified in the PetTech PetSaver Program. This is an extensive training program focusing on canine and feline CPR; moving injured animals; bleeding and shock management; bites and stings; and senior pet care.
In addition to the many pet services Pet Patrol already offers, two more options will be available in 2012. Sanitary cuts, the maintenance of a pet’s hygiene between grooming visits, will be provided in the client’s home. Services include nail and paw pad trims; tooth brushing; ear swab; and belly and anal fur trims. Bereavement services will also be offered for those who are not able or willing to take their terminally ill pet to the vet or for those who cannot move a deceased animal from their home.
During the summer months of May through October, Pet Patrol hosts Doggie Happy Hours where pet owners can bring their dog out for the evening! Local restaurants provide their patios and dog owners have dinner and drinks with their favorite furry companions. Over the years, Pet Patrol has worked with caricature artists, pet psychics, reiki massage therapists and professional pet photographers, making the evening special for both pets and their owners. October’s Doggie Happy Hour is a fundraiser for PAWS Animal Shelter in Tinley Park.
