About sixty south suburban residents came out to Calvary Church on Saturday evening to remember the families who have lost loved ones in the year since the first vigil

Pastors from various churches came together and joined in prayer for hospitals, agencies offering treatment, ministries offering recovery services, police and fire departments and others who work with the addicted.

A video testimony from former drug addict and KORN band member, Brian "Head" Welch, was played for the audience. Welch is planning to come to Calvary in April to speak about his past addiction and transformation.

Pastor Ron Ovitt of Calvary Church organized the second vigil to continue the fight against the drug epidemic.

Calvary Church offers a Recovery service at the church every Saturday night at 5 p.m.
