Candidates Question Candidates During Village Board Forum

During Orland Township's candidate forum for Orland Park Village Board, the hopefuls got to grill each other on the issues.

In the first round of questions, Patricia Gira asks John Brudnak if District 135's referendum was too high, Ed Schussler asked Tom Cunningham about District 135 increasing a tax levy while having a $51 million balance, and Carole Ruzich asks Rich Kelly if he sees a conflict in being both Township Assessor and a village board member.

In the second round, John Brudnak asks Ed Schussler about the putting apartments in the Main Street Triangle, Molly McVoy Flynn asks Patricia Gira about a timeline to resolve the Triangle dispute and Steven Williams asked Ed Schussler about connections between campaign contributions and contracts.
In the final round of questions, Rich Kelly asks Ed Schussler about landscape contracts, Tom Cunningham asks Patricia Gira about the Andrew Corporation leaving Orland Park.

Orland Township's candidates forum for the people vying for Orland Park Village Board had a slight twist on the usual format. Candidates were open to put each other to task on several issues, by asking each other specific questions.
