Candidates’ Top 3 Issues for the 35th Illinois House District

Budget fixes, teacher pensions and infrastructure are among points brought up when candidates for Democrat slot are asked what their top three issues are in the 35th District.

Three candidates vying for the Democrat slot in the 35th Illinois House District race shared what they see as their three top issues that are important to the district’s people.

During a candidate forum in Beverly Tuesday night, Fran Hurley, Anthony Martin and Andrew Byrne Hodorowicz offered their views. Republican candidate Steven Williams, who is running unopposed in the primary, was not invited to attend the forum. Williams did speak at a forum Monday night, where he shared his thoughts on key issues to tackle if he is picked for the General Assembly seat in November.
