Tom Cunningham and Mary Bragg, you did NOT pass the referendum- you INHERITED a passed referendum. The referendum was passed in 2004 and you were elected in 2005.

Actually the referendum was passed in 2005. It was when Cunningham, Cachey, Sutherland, and Bragg were all elected to the board. There was no municipal election in 2004. Municipal elections are in odd years. Neither had anything to do with the referendum.

Thunderstorm you are correct! I believe all of the people you mentioned worked on the passing of the referendum except Tom Cunningham. Technically, all the WORk was done in 2004 and up to the election in 2005 (Sutherland was an incumbent), but the elections are as you said, in odd years.

Mr. Cunningham doesn't realize how much better Orland District 135 was BEFORE his tenure. Mrs. Gentile has caused much chaos and expense in District 135 because of her personal agenda. These board members need to be replaced. In no way have they advanced education in our community.

You are correct on both counts. They have cost the district lots of money, trust, etc. Please vote them out.

Remember, you don't HAVE to vote for four candidates for Board seats. Only vote for candidates you'd WANT elected to the Board, otherwise the "throwaway" votes you make may actually prevent your candidate from gettng elected!
