Donald J. Fox, Firefighter: 1968-2012

A firefighter/paramedic in Chicago for 12 years, he continued to work part-time at the Richton Park Fire Department. He will be laid to rest Friday.

 

Donald J. Fox, 43, of Orland Park, a Chicago firefighter/paramedic for 12 years and a part-time firefighter in the Richton Park Fire Department, died Oct. 9, 2012.

He was born Nov. 5, 1968. Beloved husband of Judi, nee Wagner; devoted father of Kate, Gabe and Shane; loving son of Sheila, nee Fagan and the late Thomas; dearest brother of Tom (Tamara), Scott, Kelly (Gary) Pechloff, Rick (Darcy) and Karen; also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral will be Friday, 9 a.m., from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn to Parkview Christian Church, 11100 Orland Parkway, Orland Park, Celebration of Life, 11 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Foxy's Kids Fund, c/o Chase Bank, 12657 S. Ridgeland, Palos Heights, IL 60463 will be appreciated.

To all the Fox Family,
I want to give my deepest condolences to you all! Even though we haven't been in touch for years, Don has that never forgetting touch on so many people! He was a great guy and he is at rest now and I hope all of you are at peace.
