Guide to 4th of July in Orland Park
Fireworks, Disney and funk. All three will be a part of today’s celebration at Centennial Park.
The 4th of July in Orland Park has a lot more going on than fireworks and grilling.
Families are invited to stop by Centennial Park and the day's entertainment will begin at 5 p.m.
Here are the entertainment schedule and details from the village:
Radio Disney Road Crew
At 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, the energy and excitement that families hear on Radio Disney will be recreated live with the Radio Disney Road Crew performing at Centennial Park. It is going to be the biggest interactive, hands-on, music and contest-filled event of the year!
Libido Funk Circus
They rocked the stage at last year’s Taste of Orland Park and they’re coming back to celebrate America’s birthday, having entertained audiences throughout the Midwest for the last decade. Libido Funk Circus is a dazzling musical stage show with instrumental gymnastics and outrageous clothes performing from 7:15 p.m. until 9:15 p.m. on the main stage at Centennial Park.
Presentation of Colors and Fireworks
Members of the Orland-Palos Reber-Tesmond Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2604 will present colors at 9:15 pm, followed by fireworks in the southwest sky.
