Nominate Your Favorite Italian Beef in Orland Park
Patch readers, we need YOU to pick your favorite place for gravy-dripping, peppers-piled beef sandwiches in town Nominate your choice in the comments below.
Italian beef is one of the true Chicago-area originals, and not for faint of heart.
If you haven’t used at least 12 napkins while eating one, or ruined two items of clothing, then you simply didn’t do it right.
Great Italian beef has the deep richness of the gravy worked into its very fabric, complete with soft, yet crusty, bread and great peppers either spicy or sweet.
Orland is lucky to have its share of beef slingers.
If you have a favorite Orland Park place for Italian beef, mention them in the comments below and enter them in our 2012 Readers’ Choice Poll.
Here are a couple of suggestions we know of, but a place still needs to be named in the comments to be nominated.
We will accept nominations through July 9.
While you're at it, give a shoutout to your chosen local venue in our Patch business directory. Think of your recommendation as a public service, telling residents the best places to go in Orland Park and Orland Hills.

Pizzeria Bella, in the plaza at 143rd and 80th Avenue. Not only do they have great beef, they have the best thin crust pizza I've had in a long time. Their prices are terrific and the people are friendly.

Without a doubt, Turk's ! No other beef sandwich comes even close. I have never been disappointed in anything Turk has served. The homemade hot giardo is amazing, plus the fries! Turk and his wife Donna work hard to bring their customers the best food in a friendly, fun atmosphere. Feels like home.

I tried Turks for the first time yesterday and LOVED the beef sandwich..Turk is worried that when LaGrange road is torn up in front of his restaraunt is torn up that he will lose business. If you drive down Ravinia you can still get there. Let's try to support him during this time.
