Good question. Your best bet will be to ask vendors on site. I don't believe I heard of any specific gluten-free foods that would usually contain gluten, but best to ask.

Hope you wear your "press hat" to the Taste of Orland this weekend. That way we can recognize you and be sure and say HI! By the By/ among list of vendors, we do NOT see any mention of adult beverages. Is there a beer/wine tent or something?

Thanks T Bernard. I know it's odd that I'm rarely seen in it. That's because it blows away real easily. Look for the Patch tshirt. I just got an alcohol list that I'll add right now. Great question.

OK, alcohol list is updated and here's a link to the full list picture: http://orlandpark.patch.com/articles/patch-s-guide-to-the-2012-taste-of-orland-park?#photo-10903417
There is no tent. You can walk the main grounds of the fest with drinks (stage, vending), but you can't bring booze inside the kids area.

I just noticed that the Taste of Orland with have Turkey Legs!!! They should promote the heck out of that to all those who missed them at the Taste of Chicago. Think of all the money they could make!!!! :-)

Disappointed with this year's food choices. Far too many pizza and chicken fingers options. Where were the sandwiches, smaller dishes?? Granted a few places were almost sold out of their menu so they removed items off the menu board maybe the ones that sold out were better options.
I was disappointed there was only one healthy food restaurant and they had desserts.
Would have liked to see the Italian restaurants offer up something other than pizza since there were 4 actual pizza places there.
I was at the Taste of Orland a few years ago and had the best bite size meatball sandwich and delicious perfectly portioned tiny ice cream.

I agree Carin, the choices are not good. No gluten free products. At least one should have been offered. Organizers are not thinking of healthier options. Cafe Gaston and Blissful Banana were only two that offered good healthier food. No wonder Americans are overweight, every sports arena has poor choices as well. I suppose I would only stop there for the music and then there's all those people. Eat healthy before you go.

When we arrived Blissful only had desserts. They were the one place I wanted to try too but I don't really eat desserts
Nothing seemed smaller size portions. The pizza slices were as big as my head. I get wanting more food for your money but I always thought to Taste was to have smaller portions to eat at more than one place.
I'd love restaurants to try out new menu options. What better way than a tasting to get feedback?
