I guess I have to vote for Lilek, who broke our hearts at Illiana Christian on Saturday afternoon. He was impressive in his victory over our Vikings!!!

Lilek is a good one. And he will be part of a pitching-rich sectional cast at Lincoln-Way West this week. Any predictions?

P.Y.T.: Forkin has been one of the heroes in Sandburg's recenty surge. Do you think the Eagles will continue to soar in sectional play?

WIth Ellie around, they can't lose! She's a wonderful athlete AND an incredible human being. Well-rounded! Signed with Syracuse, I think??? That's what I heard. And no, I am not related to her, just know who she is, and think the world of her!

I think Syracuse, now that I am looking, somewhere on the east coast I think she signed with? Do you know, Ron? Which ever school gets her will be 100% lucky. She's a great student, person and athlete! (not that the others in this poll are not, I just don't know them) LOL

I am Ellie's hitting and travel coach. She deserves this more than anybody because of how hard she works. She has improve so much from late year. She has become a complete hitter. She hits foe average and power. She is a corner stone to the A's organization and also my 4 hitter on my team. She is a great hitter and should b the player of the week.

Ellie really deserves this award. Not only does she do great things for her team she is a great inspiration to our 9u travel team that helps with. Our girls really look up to her.  She shows them how to work hard and love the game. Please give her your vote.

Stephanie Lorenz has been a softball player since she was 6y/o. Her transition from being a recreational player to a travel ball player required a tremendous amount of determination and ambition needed to succeed. With the help of coaches Popp, Dundee, Cairo and Ball she has been blessed in the wonderful sport of softball. GO REDBIRDS
