I had no idea there would be categories...
Where is 'favorite antique store'?
I've lived in Orland 42 years. Thank God the Orland Park Bakery stayed.
Stores I really miss:
Hawkens-best 'notions'
Robert Hall, Pooches-Paul Bunyan burgers
Jardines-carved ham, Lang-Lee...
All the antique stores and dealers that used to be on Beacon Avenue.
Coast to Coast Hardware,
Did I mention Randy's?
Ace Hardware.
I still love going to the General store
Antiques and the other stores on Union
Ave. I have lots of the antiques and hardware still from these stores. But the food, good deli meat, and bakery goods are only passing great smells in my ol factory
Memories.....

Antiques this time was put under gift shops/thrift stores. Folks have already suggested that antiques be a separate category, and that's been brought up when talking about the whole thing, so hopefully that will change for the next time we do it.

Our family has whole new wardrobes and we've been getting really great furniture and chotchkeys (spelling?) from SPREE.
So we are on pins & needles waiting this week ...
To see what Savers has to offer.

That's an interesting idea. I'll add to the list of possibilities for the next time we do this. Thank you.
