The Winners of Our 2012 Readers’ Choice Polls Are…

We asked you to vote for your favorite businesses, religious institutions, organizations and services in Orland Park and across the southland in a variety of categories. Here are the winners.

 

During the last two months, a couple people asked me why we are doing these Readers’ Choice polls.

Everyone has an opinion, and how people feel about certain businesses and services can be very subjective. I can say I’ve read a Yelp review where a person whined about their ride to the restaurant more than the food.

The point isn’t who wins or doesn’t. The point is to remind people that we have great businesses, services, organizations and religious institutions right here in town. And if it’s been a while since the last visit, stop by. Remind them they have support. It’s a great thing to do during a tough economic time.

I am not sure if my previous comment went through, so I am sending another one. I voted for Pandora's Rack and last time I checked they had 41 votes, and Spree had 37 votes. How come you show Spree as a winner?

I made a mistake and misread the counts. Pandora's Rack is the rightful winner. My apologies, folks.
