This Week's Pets: Maddi the Cuddle Bug & Ernie the Energetic One
Maddi is eight years old and is ready for a comfortable home. Ernie, who is one year old, wants to play.
Maddi would like nothing better than to sit next to you.
This 8-year-old domestic shorthair has been at PAWS Animal Shelter in Tinley Park since the end of July. It's hard to see why anyone would want to give up this sweet creature. Maddie is missing the tips of his ears. Volunteers believe she suffered a bit of frostbite at some point.
Maddi just loves to be constantly around people. She loves everyone she meets at the shelter and is an extremely easy-going pet.
Ernie is another sort altogether. This 1-year-old domestic shorthair is full of energy.
The volunteers said Ernie is a climber and jumper. He'll easily keep up with someone looking for an energetic buddy around the house.
It's recommended that Ernie be the only cat in the house, though. He's been at the shelter since July and tends to do better when he's away from other animals.
If you're interested in adoption, contact the shelter at 815-464-7298 or visit its website.
