Your Favorite Grocery Store: Which Place Has It In the Bag?

Does your preferred grocer have the friendliest greeters or the best shelving system? You never have to worry about where to find your favorites? Join the discussion on Patch and leave reviews for your favorite grocery store in our business directory.

Your grocery store has the best selection of fresh fruits and veggies this side of town. The shelving system makes perfect sense—you're never wandering around on a hunt for black olives. And just in case something was moved to a new aisle, there are plenty of friendly faces to help point you in the right direction. The prices are reasonable and the coupons are plentiful. That's what makes it your favorite grocery store—and hands down, the best around.

So tell us, which grocer gets your business on a regular basis? Whose deals and prices do you swear by? Find your favorite in our list, and leave a review to sway people through its doors.

Oh, and we're keeping it to general grocery stores this week, but we'll be featuring your favorite specialty stores in the future.

OAK FOREST

ORLAND PARK

TINLEY PARK

Did we miss one? Email us your grocery store of choice in Oak Forest, Orland Park or Tinley Park (remember, just general grocery stores this time around), and we will be sure to add it to the list of the area's top spots.

When a new family moves into your neighborhood and they ask for your recommendations for stores, take-out places or professional services, what do you say?

Because Patch has an extensive directory of businesses, we want all of our readers to benefit from your experience the way your neighbors do. What are your go-to places for dinner on those nights when you don't want to cook? Who do you call when a raccoon has made your chimney home?

Share your knowledge with other readers by leaving reviews on businesses in our directory. Clicking on the name of the business takes you to its profile page where you can express yourself and give them a rating.

Food 4 Less has best prices especially in the deli. Meijer a close second for a wider variety than F/4Less and very clean.

I really like Meijer however, while they invested so much money remodeling the store AND landscaping the parking lot.... they should have replaced the floor as well. It is always dirty/dingy looking. I prefer Trader Joes.... but I am hoping for a Whole Foods ! Sentry Foods on 147th and Cicero has a wonderful meat selection, GREAT prices, but not enough of a selection of every day staple s.

Trader Joe's hands down! I know I am getting quality food without chemicals.
