A great day was had by all as the Illinois Democrat's kicked off the election season in style with great weather in Springfield today. Hearing the positive message of the party energized me for the fall campaign. The rousing rendition of the National Anthem along with cheers for the democratic constitutional officers were inspiring. The call to support President Obama was big, encouraging people to reach out to neighboring battle ground states! The convention voted to have the national platform be our platform. While most headed out to the State Fair for more speeches, we headed back to Orland and the Community Fair at Century School.
