New Health Care Benefits for Women now Available
What follows is one of a series of facts on what is included in the Affordable Care Act. Readers can come to their own conclusions as to the value of the rule and whether the rule should or should not be part of our country’s health care system.
Under the Affordable Care Act, women’s preventive health care – such as mammograms, screenings for cervical cancer, prenatal care, and other services – is now covered with no cost sharing for new health plans.
What This Means for You:
Effective August 1, 2012 the following prevention related service for women will be provided with no additional cost:
- Well-woman visits
- Gestational diabetes screening for pregnant women
- Domestic and interpersonal violence screening and counseling
- FDA-approved contraception methods, and contraceptive education and counseling
- Breastfeeding support, supplies, and counseling
- HPV DNA testing, for women 30 or older
- Sexually transmitted infections counseling
- HIV screening and counseling for sexually-active women

Of course it's a socialist program...just like the fire dept., police dept,. post office, schools, roads...etc. Health care should be a right, not a privilege. Don't let people scare you with words like socialism, this is not communist Russia, and it never will be. There aren't going to be death panels. Did you see the opening ceremonies in London? They are proud of their National Health Service there. I'm sure they have things that they would like improved, but I guarantee they don't want it taken away.
And as far as your cost.How about the cost of invading Iraq and Afghanistan. Not just dollars, but human cost.

Someone drank ALL the koolaid. Your comparing apples to oranges. Be careful about letting the govt decide what is a right and what is not a right. If the govt makes something a right, they can take it or other rights away from you. But, if the govt recognizes that your rights come from God, then they can not take those from you. Govt is meant to do specific things and protecting the citizens is one of them. And the police, fire, schools are all in shambles, thanks to the govt. PS- the post office is not funded by the govt. they are funded by the services they sell, they are only regulated by the govt. The wars have nothing to do with healthcare.
If you like that England is proud of their healthcare, then move there and use that system, don't try to change ours for the worse. But you won't move, because you don't even believe the tripe your spewing. I am done with you, your not a challenge.
