The second half Sandburg emerged as the dominant force, with a game changing pick-six by strong safety Wes Shepherd. With a 10-3 lead, the Eagles' offensive line created the holes necessary to allow running back Lamonte Booker to break through and score a 53 yard touchdown. The Eagles continued the momentum throughout the second half, shutting down the Tigers' offense and ultimately defeating the team 30-3.
