The Korean War is too often described as forgotten. The Orland Park Veterans Commission went to lengths to make sure that didn't continue this year.  A diverse collection of photos, military equipment, Korean items, newspapers and other memorabilia stands on display within the Frederick T. Owens Village Hall until Dec. 3. "We want these veterans to know that they are not forgotten and we look forward to displaying the artifacts that they have," said Gail Blummer, Veterans Commission recording secretary, in a release.
