Collecting gently used or new Communion dress/suit and accessories. This Saturday and Sunday before mass a Junior Girl Scout from the parish is collecting these items once again for the girls and boys of another Christian commmunity. You know how much that new dress or suit meant to your daughter or son on Communion day.Why let it hang in the closet unused? The families from St Ann's in Lansing,IL can not make that dream come true without your help. Fr Bill McFarlane will be sharing your donations with St Victor, St Andrews and Lady of Knock.

More About St Francis of Assisi Parish
Since 1990, St. Francis of Assisi Parish has served the catholic population of western Orland Park. Rev. Edward Upton is the current Administrative Pastor of St. Francis and is assisted by Associate Pastor, Rev. John Zurek. Masses are held daily at 7:45 am with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays when the church provides additional Sunday services. St. Francis of Assisi provides a wide variety of activities for members of all age groups. Youth groups as well as religious education for all ages is allows members to strengthen their faith. The church also offers music ministry and a children's choir.
