A 4th of July Concert in the Park: City Lights Orchestra Open Centennial Park West

Orland Park hosts its first outdoor concert as part of Independence Day weekend.

Why go to Ravinia, when Orland Park has it's own outdoor music venue?

Centennial Park West, in the Colette Highland Subdivision, held its first concert Sunday evening to celebrate the 4th of July, the City Lights Orchestra.

Hundreds of music lovers came, armed with blankets, chairs and picnics to enjoy the classic sounds of American popular music-from Gershwin to Tina Turner, as performed by the 40-piece orchestra and their headline singers, Bruce Mattey, Suzanne Palmer and Linda Clifford. The evening ended with fireworks and many pleased revelers.
