Orland Fire Foundation to Raise Money to Support Scholarships and Public Training

The fundraiser will be held May 15 at 94 West.

This Year's annual Fundraiser for the Orland Fire Protection District Foundation will be held on May 15 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at 94 West Restaurant, 15410 S. 94th Avenue in Orland Park.

Funds raised at this event will support the OFPD Kids Fire & Life Safety Camp, the Community CARE Program, and the Residential Knox Box program. This year, the Foundation also wants to establish a scholarship fund to help young people who pursue careers in FireFighter Service. There will be live music, great food (as always), and a chance to meet some of the leadership of the OrlandFire Protection District.

Community CARE's is intended to increase the number of people trained in CPR and the use of an AED and to increase the availability of public access to Defibrillators (PADs). The program also helps to ensure public CPR skills remain current and defibrillators are properly maintained.
