Patch's Guide to Orland Days 2014

Food, music, a parade, carnival rides and more. We put together what you need to know for the fest running through Sunday night.

The time has come for Orland Days, our local four-day festival of food, rides, music and a parade, all organized and managed by volunteers with the Orland Park Lions Club.

The festival will be held as before at the 153rd Street Metra Station north lot, having kicked off on Wednesday night, continuing through Sunday night. Hours are Thursday 5 to 10 p.m., Friday 5 p.m. to midnight, Saturday noon to midnight, and Sunday noon to 10 p.m., with a parade at 1 p.m.

Beer will be available, along with wine and Mike’s Hard Lemonade. 

Proceeds go toward helping needy families in the community.

Food


Tickets

Wristbands to access carnival rides are now sold at Walgreens locations within 11 miles of the festival grounds, $20 for all-day.  Walgreens deal ends Friday. Wristbands will also be available at the festival. Access to the entertainment tent will be $5 Friday, Saturday and Sunday.


Parade

The 2014 Orland Days Parade will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 1. The Orland Park Lions Club will serve as grand marshal, in honor of the group's 50th anniversary.
