When and how did your business get started?

Pure Barre opened its first studio in 2001, focusing on the areas of the body women struggle with the most. Pure Barre lifts the seat, tones the thighs and upper body, and creates long and lean muscles through small isometric movements. After Pure Barre began franchising, in 2009, studios have opened across the country to more than 150 locations. Pure Barre Orland Park will open in early November, as one of the newest locations.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?

Studio Manager Mary Bertke can't wait to bring Pure Barre to Orland Park! We know that the residents of Orland Park, and surrounding communities, have been looking for a workout like Pure Barre, but have just not been able to find it. The Village of Orland Park seemed like a logical fit due to the growing population and health conscious residents.
