CJB Earns Trophies at Providence Junior High School Math Competition

On April 27th, eighteen 7th and 8th Graders from Cardinal Joseph Bernardin Catholic School participated in the Junior High School Math Competition at Providence High School. 

Michael K., CJB 7th Grader, earned a second place trophy in the non-algebra individual competition.  The 8th Grade team of Mark C., Maryclare L., Danielle O., and Joe W. earned a third place trophy in the algebra team competition.  CJB’s calculator team of Mark C., Maryclare L., Danielle O., Jack O., and Joe W. earned a third place trophy in the calculator competition.  Other CJB students who participated are 7th Graders Elizabeth H., Amanda H., Connor L., Justine O., Kate P., Reilly R., Kimberlee S., and Mitchell T., and 8th Graders Kelly C., Clare M., Tim Q., and Grace R..   The CJB 7th and 8th Grade Math Team is coached by Ms. Karen Ross.
