Warrant Issued in Shooting Chase Case

A Crown Point, Indiana man is considered a suspect involved in a house break in and shooting, where a man shot at least three times chased attackers as they fled, while firing at the victim out in the open.

Police are still looking for two men accused of breaking into an Orland Park house, shooting a 30-year-old man and stealing items before fleeing the area. The victim then chased after the suspects while they shot at him from their getaway car.

Sandburg Student Turns Cancer Tragedy into Inspiration

Anastasia Scourtes lost her mother to cancer in March, and responded by raising over $4,200 for cancer research leading up to this weekend’s Relay for Life. She will be the keynote speaker Friday at Sandburg.
