Eagles Hockey Club Junior Varsity to play outdoor Winter Classic game

The Eagles Hockey Club start the new year out cold!

A showcase of outdoor hockey games will begin on January 1, 2013, and run for two days at the Evergreen Park Ice Arena, located at 8900 South Kedzie Avenue, in Evergreen Park, Illinois. These will be league counting games, and consist of high school junior varsity teams that participate in the Illinois High School Hockey League (IHSHL) West Division. The unbeaten Eagles, from Sandburg High School, will play rival Naperville Central on January 2, at 5PM. The Eagles are currently in 1st place, and looking to finish strongly before the league playoffs begin in February, and also will compete for the state title later in that month. This game will conclude two days of league outdoor play at this facility. Don't miss any of either JV, or Varsity Eagle hockey, as both teams are leading their league divisions, and contenders for state. For complete schedules, and information go to www.eagleshockeyclub.org. For a complete schedule of the outdoor games go to the IHSHL West website, or contact the Evergreen Park Ice Arena.
