Orland Township will serve as a community cooling center on June 28 and 29.

As I am sure many have heard, we are in store for record-breaking heat in the next two days. To ensure the safety of all residents, Orland Township, 14807 S. Ravinia Avenue, is serving as a designated cooling center today and tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The doors are open to anyone in need during the extreme temperatures, and in the case of an emergency, transportation to the township can be arranged by calling (708) 403-4222.
