Barn Fire on 159th in Homer Township (UPDATE)
Homer Fire Protection District is working to douse a barn fire on 159th Street just west of Cedar Road.
UPDATE: 10:41 P.M. FRIDAY
Homer Fire Protection District is still on the scene, according to Station No. 1 personnel.
An unofficial report from Northern Illinois FireGround notes that the fire spread to two cars and the barn was burned to the ground.

The Homer Township Fire Protection District is working to douse a barn fire on 159th Street just west of Cedar Road. The fire ignited shortly before 9:50 p.m.
Firefighters from Station No. 1 are currently on the scene. No further details are available at this time.
