Orland Park police are pursuing a six-foot tall white man who robbed the Chase Bank at 13211 S. LaGrange Road.

Police released photos of a man who robbed an Orland Park bank while while wearing a red wig Thursday afternoon, and sketches of a man who drove the getaway car.

A man went into Chase Bank at 13211 S. LaGrange Road and ordered the bank manager to open the safe around 3:50 p.m. Thursday, according to Orland Park police. The man threatened to harm bank staff if they didn't cooperate, according to a news release from the Chicago Federal Bureau of Investigations office.

He was described as a six-foot tall white man, between 20 and 25, with no facial hair, wearing a tan baseball cap and what appeared to be a red wig. Witnesses said they saw a hammer attached to a shoulder bag the man was carrying, according to the release.
