Court Watch: Accused 'Porn Truck' Driver Waives Right to Jury Trial
Collection of evidence delays trial for one man accused of soliciting sex from two teens over the Internet and another accused of sexual molestation.

Cook County
HOMEWOOD—A man accused of trying to lure a teenage girl into his sex toy-laden pickup truck filed a jury trial waiver during his most recent court appearance on Tuesday, court records show. Steve D. Dutton, who’s charged with disorderly conduct, is scheduled back in court on Nov. 15.
ORLAND PARK—Defense attorneys for Kevin Skaritka, who’s , are still awaiting evidence from the state before they can begin collecting evidence of their own. In court on Thursday, an assistant state’s attorney told Judge John J. Hynes that the state is itself awaiting several reports, though the state has declined to comment on what those reports include. Skaritka has been charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual abuse and criminal sexual abuse. He’s scheduled back in court on Dec. 5.

Will County
NEW LENOX—Will County prosecutors have another month to collect and tender evidence against Joseph Bozen, an Orland Park man charged with . Meanwhile, Bozen’s attorney has yet to file a list of his affirmative defenses, evidence of his own and witnesses for trial. In court on Wednesday, Judge Sarah Jones reminded Bozen that he is to have no contact with the minors involved in this case. He’s scheduled back in court on Dec. 1.
