Deal Talk For Former Orland Firefighter Facing Sex Charges
A prosecutor and the attorney for a Former Orland firefighter charged with possessing child pornography and trying to chat up a 13-year-old girl online met with a judge to work on a deal.

The attorney for a former Orland firefighter facing a pair of sex cases met with a prosecutor and a judge Tuesday for a closed-door meeting to try to hammer out a plea deal.
The deal didn't get done, but Cook County Judge Colleen Hyland set an Aug. 2 date for negotiations in the case of Dean Milenkovic to continue at the Bridgeview courthouse.
Milenkovic, 47, was arrested in June after allegedly developing an online relationship with an undercover Iowa cop he believed was a 13-year-old girl. Less than four months later, Milenkovic was charged with aggravated possession of child pornography.
Milenkovic resigned from his job with the Orland Fire Protection District in between the filing of the two cases.
