Fingerprints Reveal Identity of Orland Condo Burglar

A 64-year-old Chicago man was discovered to be the culprit in a January Orland condo burglary.

The mystery of an Orland Park condo robbery was recently solved thanks to some high-tech police work, according to Orland Park police.

Fingerprint analysis revealed 64-year-old Frank Williamson of Chicago to be the burglar who broke into the condo on the 7200 block of 157th Street on Jan. 24. Among the items stolen were cash, a laptop computer and a Playstation console.

By the time police discovered it was Williamson, he was already behind bars at the Robinson Correctional Center for two counts of residential burglary, police say. 

Williamson was charged with yet another count of residential burglary. His bond was set at $50,000 according to police.
