Former Tinley Park HS Teacher Charged with Sex with Student in Orland Park
Ryan Dolan faces an additional charge of criminal sexual assault of the same student, as Orland Park police believe an instance occurred within the village.
The former Tinley Park High School teacher accused of having sex with a student in Tinley Park faces an additional charge lodged by Orland Park police for an encounter in the village.
Orland Park Police arrested Ryan Dolan, 29, of Tinley Park on Wednesday, March 26, after an investigation revealed he may have had sexual contact with the same TPHS student under the age of 18 within village limits.
He faces a new count of criminal sexual assault, Orland Park police said.
Bail was set at $250,000 at a March 26 hearing at the Bridgeview courthouse. The same day, a judge granted Dolan permission to travel out of state for his new job as a construction worker.
Dolan previously was charged with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse from a position of trust and two counts of criminal sexual assault of a victim under the age of 18, for instances involving the same student in Tinley Park. He resigned his position as history teacher and head wrestling coach at the high school on March 11, days after his arrest.
Dolan’s next court appearance regarding the Orland Park charge will be on April 23, at the Cook County 5th District courthouse in Bridgeview.
