Litter Lands Chicago Man a Marijuana Possession Charge: Blotter

MONDAY, APRIL 1

DUI Charges For Lockport Man

Cesario A. Solorsano, 44, of the 16400 block of Deer Run Drive, Lockport, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.08, driving without insurance and failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash, according to a report. Police were called at about 10:25 p.m. to the intersection of 179th Street and Wolf Road for a crash. Officers reported smelling a strong odor of alcohol coming from one of the drivers in the crash. Solorsano told police he took a bus to the White Sox game and was dropped off at the Metra station in Tinley Park. He was arrested after performing field sobriety tests. While in police custody, he took a breath test. Solorsano is due on Mary 15 in Bridgeview court.

Not Your Credit Card

Kearra M. Hardmon, 23, of the 7000 block of Honore Avenue, Chicago, was charged with possession of someone else’s credit card, according to a report. Hardmon is accused using a credit card twice that did not belong to her at about 4:31 p.m. at Macy’s, 1 Orland Square Dr. Store employees reportedly saw her try to use the credit card at one register, leave after she was asked for identification, and then use it again at a different cashier. She then used it again at another store. The owner of the card was contacted and told police she did not know Hardmon. After arresting her, police found multiple credit cards and receipts in her purse.

Marijuana Possession Charge After Littering

Raul Armas, 26, of the 9900 block of Exchange Street, Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with an expired license, according to a report. Police stopped Armas’ car at about 11:20 a.m. in the 15600 block of Wolf Road after the passenger was seen throwing a plastic bottle out of the window. Armas was arrested after an officer determined his license was expired. During the stop, a prescription pill bottle with a green leafy substance inside fell out an open door. Police also found a grinder in the back seat. The substance was found to be 2.7 grams of marijuana after testing. Armas was due on April 22 in Bridgeview court.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27

Retail Theft Charge

Tyanna J. McIntosh, 21, of the 400 block of Crandon St., Calumet City, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. She is accused of taking clothing at about 8:01 p.m. from Macy’s, 1 Orland Square Dr. A store employee reportedly found merchandise in her purse after she had walked out of the store. McIntosh is due on May 20 in Bridgeview court.
