Former Orland Firefighter’s Sex Case Waiting on Deal to Get Done
A prosecutor and the attorney for a former Orland firefighter charged with possessing child pornography and trying to chat up a 13-year-old girl online won't get together again with a judge to work on a deal until October.

A former Orland firefighter facing a pair of sex cases must wait until October for his lawyer and a prosecutor to try to hammer out a deal during a closed-door meeting with a Cook County judge.
The firefighter, 47-year-old Dean Milenkovic, appeared before Judge Colleen Hyland for a Tuesday afternoon hearing at the Bridgeview courthouse but did not speak. At the conclusion of the hearing, Hyland set the date to continue negotiations.
Milenkovic was arrested in June 2012 after allegedly developing an online relationship with an undercover Iowa cop he believed was a 13-year-old girl. Less than four months later, Milenkovic was charged with aggravated possession of child pornography.
Milenkovic resigned from his job with the Orland Fire Protection District in between the filing of the two cases.
