Orland Mom Arrested After Calling Cops on Thieving Kid: Police

The Orland Park woman had a warrant out for her arrest after she allegedly skipped a court date in a traffic case.

An Orland Park woman called the cops on her son after he stole her computer monitor but ended up getting arrested herself when it turned out she was wanted for skipping court, police said.

Kristen Bock, 36, of 9104 Orland Park Court had a warrant for her arrest alleging she missed a court date in a traffic case.

An officer was sent to Bock's home and was told "her son took her computer monitor while he was moving out earlier on this date," according to a police report which noted "the entire family is being evicted."

"Upon my arrival, I advised Kristen that it was a civil matter between her and her son," the report said.

The officer then ran Bock's record and "learned that she had an active warrant ... out of the Tinley Park Police Department" for failing to appear on a driving while license suspended charge, the report said.

The officer took Bock into custody on the warrant, which had been issued in March.
