Orland Park Cops Catch Joliet Man Wanted on Heroin Charge in Will County

The wanted Joliet man was begging for bus fare outside an Orland Park nail salon, police said.

A Joliet man begging for bus fare outside a LaGrange Road nail salon turned out to be wanted for allegedly dealing heroin in Will County, police said.

Steven Cieslinski, 29, of 1100 Murphy Drive was arrested by Orland Park police March 21.

An officer was sent to Lee Nails to check out reports of a "suspicious person" asking people for money. The officer reportedly found Cieslinski, who admitted he had been begging for money to ride a bus.

The officer checked Cieslinski's state identification and determined he was wanted on a Will County warrant charging him with the manufacture or delivery of heroin. After Cieslinski was taken into custody, an officer found six capped hypodermic needles in his backpack, police said.

Cieslinski was turned over to the Will County Sheriff's Department and remains in the county jail.
