Domestic Battery

Police said they were called about an injured juvenile by school staff at Center School, 9407 W 151st St., around 7:30 a.m. An officer saw that the juvenile’s lip was swollen and puffy, according to the report.

An adult in the home was called to the Orland Hills Police Station, where she said she was not aware the juvenile was hurt, police said. The adult was charged with domestic battery.

Credit Card Fraud

Police said a woman reported that two purchases of jewelry from a company called Red Envelope were ordered with her debit card without her knowing of it. She found the purchases on Feb. 3 around 9 a.m. and was able to cancel the second purchase, but a pair of rings worth $132.88 had already cleared her account, according to the report.
