SUNDAY, JULY 3

DUI After Accident

Kevin B. McGuire, 26, of the 8700 block of South Olympic Drive in Bridgeview, was charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level over .08. McGuire had struck a line of bushes at Pinewood Plaza, 11957 143rd St., shortly after 2 a.m., according to the report. McGuire later failed field sobriety tests. He was also issued traffic tickets for the accident. Bail was set July 4.

Drug Citation

Dennis J. Hellmann, 32, of the 8900 block of Cedarwood Drive in Orland Hills, was cited for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. According to the report, the officer pulled over a car with an expired license plate in the 17700 block of LaGrange Road just after 1 p.m. and found a bag containing a pill container that had cannabis inside, as well as a glass pipe.

DUI After Accident

Brendan A. Greene, 22, of the 11700 block of Springbrook Court in Orland Park, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Police said Greene struck another man's car at a stoplight in the 9500 block of 143rd Street at 12:30 p.m. Greene later failed field sobriety tests and admitted to taking Vicodin, according to the report. The officer found a plastic bag containing the drug, but there was no prescription bottle, police said.

Forgery

Lavell Anderson, 23, of the 7200 block of South Ellis Avenue in Chicago, was charged with forgery. Police went to Costco, 9915 159th St., after Anderson tried to use a fraudulent check to purchase a membership just before 8 p.m. A Costco employee saw that some of the safety features from the check were missing, police said. Anderson was then escorted out of the store. After further investigation, the Assistant State's Attorney's Office approved felony charges. Bail was set June 30.

MONDAY, JUNE 27

In-State Warrant

Kallentino D. Williamson, 38, of the 9100 block of South Ellis Drive in Chicago, was arrested on an in-state warrant. According to the report, Williamson was pulled over around 8:30 p.m. in the 9000 block of 159th Street for driving with an obstructed rear-view mirror. A warrant had been issued for Williamson on June 25 as a result of a parole violation, police said. Williamson was then transferred to Statesville Correctional Center.

SUNDAY, JUNE 26

Aggravated Assault

Dominick J. Sansone, 18, of the 7500 block of Tiffany Drive in Orland Park, was charged with aggravated assault. Police first went to the address at 12:30 p.m. after Sansone was arguing with a woman and allegedly pushed her, according to the report. The woman was on the phone and heard Sansone threaten her if she called the police, the report said. Police returned to the address at 1:30 p.m. when the woman said Sansone was carrying a gun, police said. The woman said she saw Sansone grab a gun and put it in his waistband. Officers recovered a utility knife from Sansone and a black BB gun pistol from the residence. Bail was set June 27.
