Orland Park Police Reports, May 16-17

SATURDAY, MAY 21

Fight at Morgan's Thunder Bowl

Randy P. Kazlauskas, 28,  and Danny R. Kazlauskas, 24, both of the 15500 block of Wolf Road in Orland Park, and Robert M. Kazlauskas, 26, of the 14300 block of Pinewood Drive in Orland Park, were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, Mokena police said.

Police were called to Morgan's Thunder Bowl regarding a bar fight involving five people. A witness said one of the victims, who was not charged, had been hit in the head with a chair by Randy Kazlauskas, according to police. The victim elected to press battery charges against Randy Kazlauskas. All three men were released on $1000 I-Bonds and due in court July 13.

In-State Warrant Executed

Michael R. Olson, 22, of the 10000 block of Walnut Terrace in Palos Hills, was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license and a warrant for his arrest in Tinley Park, police said. According to the report, he was initially pulled over for speeding off 156th Street. When police ran his name, they discovered a warrant for his arrest regarding a failure to appear in court in Tinley Park on a charge of driving on a suspended license. He posted bond on the warrant and is due in court in Bridgeview on May 31. 

Drug Offense

Gary A. Scott, 45, of the 8300 block of 170th Street in Tinley Park, was arrested and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and drug-related equipment, police said. According to the report, he was initially pulled over near 151st at 88th Avenue for driving with no headlights on after dark. When asked for license and insurance, the officer smelled a strong odor of cannabis coming from the car. The officer later recovered a pipe. Scott is due in local court at the Orland Park Civic Center on June 14.

MONDAY, MAY 16

Found Identification

Carin D. Billingsley, 28, of the 800 block of Tallgrass in Matteson, was arrested and charged with theft, police said.  According to the report, he was initially stopped for not having a front license plate near 154th Street and 94th Avenue. While he was looking for his insurance card, the officer saw a license that did not belong to Billingsley. The driver claimed that he found it near 170th and Pulaski. There was also a debit card found on Billingsley's person. The victim was contacted and said the items went missing a year to a 18 months ago. He was also charged with having no front license plate and no insurance. He is due in court in Bridgeview on July 1.

Hitting Two Stores

Brittany P. Aiello, 19, of the 10600 block of Central Avenue in Oak Lawn, and Katherine M. Juszcycyk, 20, of the 5300 block of 108th Avenue in Oak Lawn, were arrested and cited for retail theft, police said. According to the report, Loss Prevention at Carson's in Orland Square Mall saw Aiello and Juszcycyk take merchandise from a shelf and enter a fitting room and leave with it. When confronted, the loss prevention employee found stolen property in both women's purses. Merchandise from J. C. Penney's was also found on one of the women. They were released at the scene and due in local court at the Orland Park Civic Center on June 14.

Macy's Make Off

Rena N. Razick, 20, of the 9300 block of Thomas Lane in Bridgeview, was arrested and charged with retail theft, police said. According to the report, loss prevention at Macy's in Orland Square Mall saw Razick grab merchandise from displays and go to a fitting room. When the employee went to inspect the fitting room, she saw that there were several tags on the floor. When confronted, police found 3 pairs of jeans and some shirts. Razick is due in court in Bridgview on June 14.

Third Time is a Felony

Jownune A. McKenzie, 19, of the 1000 block of Heritage Drive in Madison, Tennessee, was arrested and charged with felony retail theft, police said. According to the report, loss prevention at Kohl's in Orland Park Place saw McKenzie continually take items to a fitting room and noticed her purse get latger each time. The items found in her purse by the store valued nearly $575. Once arrested by Orland Park Police, a search found additional clothes underneath her shirt during processing. The total value of stolen goods was estimated near $645. The Assistant State's Attorney's office approved the felony charge. She had a bond hearind in Bridgeview on May 17.
