Four Charged with Theft from Mall

Regina R. Coleman, 47, and Latoshia L. Warr, 32, both of the 6500 block of South Washtenaw in Chicago; Pamela S. Warr, 26, of the 5600 block of South Whipple in Chicago; and Vivian E. Russell, 24, of the 1600 block of East 69th Street in Chicago, each was charged with theft. An officer in the Sears parking lot at Orland Square Mall saw Coleman place a large black bag containing clothes with tags still attached inside a car and then go back into the mall, according the report. At around 5:10 p.m., the officer saw all four women enter the car, and Coleman and Latoshia Warr began to remove clothes from the bag and look at them.

Officers stopped the car in the 15100 block of Harlem Avenue because the driver, Pamela Warr, was not wearing her seat belt, police said. Pamela and Latoshia Warr, and Russell, all admitted that some of the merchandise had been stolen, according to the report. Coleman provided officers with a false name and denied stealing anything at first. Police found two shirts in Coleman's left pants leg, which she later admitted were stolen, the report said. A name check of Coleman revealed a warrant out of Oak Lawn for retail theft. Patricia Warr was also charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance. Coleman was also charged with obstructing identification.
