'Rhoid Rager: Hemorrhoid Sufferer Arrested for Dropping Pants in Public to Show Off His Ailment

Police said the man kept asking people to look at his rear, and dropped his pants without waiting for them to respond.

A Chicago man was arrested for repeatedly dropping his pants at an Orland Park department store and asking people to look at his hemorrhoids.

On Nov. 19, Orland Park police were initially called about a man attempting to “flash” people at JCPenney in Orland Square Mall around 9:10 p.m.

Several store employees told police that a man kept approaching them, asked them to look at his hemorrhoids and pulled down his pants immediately after asking, according to an Orland Park police report.

The officer found the man matching descriptions given by store staff in the lower level bathroom, police said.

Arthur B. Andrews, 36, of the 9900 block of Sangamon Street in Chicago, was cited with disorderly conduct.

He is scheduled for a municipal hearing on Dec. 13 and was released without incident.
