Several Smacked with Shoplifting Charges at Sephora: Blotter

MONDAY, MARCH 4

Perfume Theft From Sephora

Monique M. Oliveras, 26, of the 14300 block of Kimbark Avenue in Dolton, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. She is accused of taking $226 worth of perfume at around 5 p.m. from Sephora USA, 730 Orland Square Dr. Employees told police they saw Oliveras hide the perfume in her purse and leave the store. She is due in Bridgeview court on April 12.

Fake Eyelashes And Hair Treatment Stolen

Caroyln S. Penney, 54, of the 4000 block of Cambridge Drive in Country Club Hills, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. She is accused of taking four packages of fake eyelashes and a bottle of hair treatment, valued at $98 total, at about 5:57 p.m. from Sephora USA, 730 Orland Square Dr. She is due in Bridgeview court on April 12.

Another Perfume Theft

Shontay Anderson, 27, of the 4500 block of Keenehand Drive in Richton Park, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. She is accused of stealing $89 worth of perfume at about 7:01 p.m. from Sephora USA. She is due in Bridgeview court on April 12.

DUI Charge For Chicago Man

Perry A. Green, III, 33, of the 8100 block of Crandon Avenue in Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence, driving without insurance and speeding, according to a report. Green was stopped at about 3:17 a.m. near 8400 159th St. for traveling 52mph in a 32mph zone. Police reported smelling a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. They also found a mostly empty beer bottle. Green reportedly failed field sobriety tests and, later, took a breath test. He is due in Bridgeview court on March 29.
