Sexual Exploitation Trial Tentatively Set For April

Kevin Skaritka faces multiple felony counts related to sexual assault and sexual abuse.

A jury trial is slated to begin April 30 for a man accused of sexually exploiting a teenage girl in both Orland Park and Palos Hills.

Kevin Skaritka, 35, has pleaded not guilty to he molested his girlfriend’s daughter, exposed himself and showed her pornography inside his home.

Robert Callahan, Skaritka's attorney, has summed up his contention with the state's case in a single unprintable word.

A final pretrial hearing was set for March 12, during which attorneys will have an opportunity to challenge or add to the evidence of the case.

Cook County Associate Judge John J. Hynes told attorneys he had previously set a trial for April 30. If that trial commences as planned, the start of the Skaritka trial could be pushed back until as late as June.
