Will Fight for Savings: Woman Shoves Officer After Clerk Denies Coupon

Police said a woman was told she couldn't reuse a coupon before struggling with an officer.

Police held a woman to the ground after she pushed an officer and yelled at store staff for not letting her reuse a coupon, according to Orland Park police.

On Nov. 11, around 9:55 p.m., Dick’s Sporting Goods staff told police two women were causing trouble and wouldn’t leave the store when told to do so, according to the report.

Store staff said the woman became irate when she was told a coupon was invalid because she had used it once before, according to the report. The woman told an employee that she returned the item on which she originally used the coupon and therefore should be able to get another discount with it, police said.
