Orland Township Hosts Monthly Immunization Clinic on Dec. 4

Orland Township is hosting its monthly immunization clinic on Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Township building, 14807 S. Ravinia Ave. The clinic is from 9-11 a.m.
 
In order to receive an immunization, children 18 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with proof of residency and a valid shot record on hand. Immunizations are free of charge to Orland Township residents 18 and younger. Adult vaccines are also available for a fee.
 
Vaccinations that are offered include: DTap, DTap-IPV/Hib, DTap/IPV, DTap/Hep B/IPV, haemophilus b conjugate, Hep A, Hep B, Hep A/B, Hib, HPV, IPV, meningococcal, MMR, pneumococcal, TB, Tdap, TD, varicella, rotavirus, typhoid. The adult vaccine Zostovax is also available at most clinics but an appointment is necessary for this vaccine. Please call the Township office at (708) 403-4222 to request a Zostovax immunization.
