D135's Next Budget Up for Public Hearing, Vote (Live Blog)

Orland School District 135 will be holding a public hearing Monday night on the proposed 2013-2014 budget. Board members are then scheduled to make their vote on the budget during Monday's meeting.

The version of the budget proposed in August did not include increases in the tax levy, following last year's 3 percent increase. The proposed budget projected $80,874,222 in revenue and $80,175,000 in expenses, though several factors could change the numbers, including whether money owed from the state is paid on schedule.
