Village of Orland Park to Host Property Tax Appeal Seminar

Orland Park taxpayers can learn more about appealing their property taxes at a Thursday, January 26 seminar hosted by Orland Park Mayor Dan McLaughlin and Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak. Held at the Orland Park Civic Center, 14750 South Ravinia Avenue, the one hour seminar will begin at 6:30 p.m.

“This is a great, local opportunity for residents to learn how they can file free tax appeals,” McLaughlin said. “They will have analysts from the Board of Review on hand to answer specific questions about tax bills and explain how to appeal them,” the mayor added.

The event is free and open to the public and there is no fee to appeal. Attending taxpayers should bring their most recent tax bills. Questions should be directed to the Board of Review at 312/603-3644. Taxpayers may also appeal on-line at www.cookcountyboardofreview.com.
