This extreme weather has everything to do with global warming/climate change: http://www.weather.com/news/science/environment/arctic-blast-linked-global-warming-20140106

Well, the forecasters were calling for a normal winter, nothing extreme.

Um, it's a bit more complicated, and that goes for pretty much the whole nation. http://www.weather.com/news/science/environment/arctic-blast-linked-global-warming-20140106

Maybe they shouldn't try to extend their 5-7 day forecast's, sometimes they can't even predict todays weather. The worst forecasters are the weather channel itself!!!
